Coconut Co. Coconut Oil Cream

Made by Jillz Beauty Therapy

Coconut Co. has created a tropically delicious moisturizer and nourisher for the skin on your face and body. An anti-aging cream. An exotic blend of mango and papaya has been infused into this delicious hydrating, nourishing oil and contains essential antioxidant and vitamins that help counteract aging of the skin. These soothing , healing, antibacterial properties aid in repair of damaged skin/scar tissue.

Coconut Co virgin, organic, cold pressed coconut oil benefits skin cell health and rejuvenation. It contains Omega 3, 6, plus Vitamins A, C and E and K. These antioxidants help counteract skin damage and heal scar tissue, sooth and heal skin irritations.

It is made from 100 percent pure Virgin Coconut Oil, Cocos Nucifera using fresh coconuts, not dried copra and grown using sustainable organic agricultural methods. After the fresh is grated and dried, oil is extracted using cold pressed method, not heated or fermented. This helps preserve the health benefits of the oil and results in a pure, natural, unrefined and highly stable coconut oil with a true coconut aroma.

Coconut oil is the most nutrient dense part of the coconut. It is solid at room temperature like butter. It doesn’t break down in heat or light or become rancid like many oils, and has a wonderful tropical smell.

Skin Nutrition Benefits of Coconut Co. Coconut Oil Cream

Omega 3, 6: Medium chain fatty acids include Lauric acid 51% (a powerful virus and bacteria destroyer), Myristic acid, Oleic acid, Stearic acid, Caprylic acid, Capric acid, Linoleic acid.  These acids protect from oxidation and heat damage of your product.
Skin benefits from omega 3,6 fatty acids involve the epidermis, the skin's outer layer. As we age, the cells become thinner and less sticky. This decreases the barrier function of the epidermis allowing moisture to be released from the skin, causing dryness. Also as epidermal cells start to decrease, the skin slowly loses its ability to repair itself efficiently. All of these changes promote wrinkling.

These medium chain fatty acids bolster the skin cell membrane of the epidermis. The skin cell membrane is the outer layer of skin cell and it monitors the intake and disposal of nutrients and waste products entering and leaving the skin cell. The skin cell membrane also influences the ability of the cell to hold onto water. Therefore, if the skin cell holds onto water, it leads to moister, softer skin, which promotes wrinkle prevention and may eradicate existing mild wrinkles. Omega-3 fatty acids contribute to the upkeep of the skin cell membrane, improving the texture and quality of skin.

The sun's ultraviolet light increases the aging process of the skin. Research has demonstrated that Omega-3 fatty acids can play a role in decreasing skin damage from UV light and the production of cancer cells caused by the UV light. It has also been shown to contribute to wound healing because of anti-inflammatory properties. It has been used to treat atopic dermatitis, psoriasis and acne.

  • Proteins: Like coconuts themselves, coconut oil is rich in many proteins. These proteins keep skin healthy and rejuvenated, both internally and externally. Proteins also contribute to cellular health and tissue repair.
  • Vitamins A: Proven to: reduce wrinkles, fade brown spots, and smooth roughness.
  • Vitamin C: Overexposure to ultraviolet radiation and environmental pollutants can accelerate skin aging by degrading collagen and triggering oxidative stress in the skin. Fortunately, the anti-aging benefits of a time-honored remedy used by ancient civilizations to heal their skin can help overcome these undesirable effects. Vitamin C is an essential component in the body’s production of collagen and a potent antioxidant that can help rejuvenate aged and photodamaged skin. Topical antioxidants produce much higher concentrations in the skin than nutritional supplements. In fact, applying vitamin C to the skin is 20 times more effective than oral ingestion. By simply applying Vitamin C daily for three days can achieve optimal levels in the skin. It is also known that once a topical antioxidant is absorbed, even after stopping application, significant amounts of Vitamin C will remain in the skin for up to three days.
  • Vitamin E: The contributions of vitamin in skin care are well known. It is essential for healthy skin growth, repair of wear & tear on the skin, keeping skin smooth and protecting against cracking. Above all, it prevents premature aging and wrinkling of the skin, since it has good antioxidant properties, which support new skin cell growth and speeding up cell regeneration. 100 grams of coconut oil has about 0.1 mg of vitamin E.
  • Vitamin K: Dark circles around the eyes are caused by fragile capillaries leaking blood in the delicate undereye area where the skin is so thin the blood is clearly visible in the form of brown bags. By gently tapping cream with vitamin K in, can diminish the discoloration by causing the blood to clot, stopping it from spreading, while also helping to prevent further leakage. Vitamin C, helps the skin absorb vitamin K more quickly, and vitamin A, which helps with renewal and collagen growth, strengthening the thinner undereye skin.

How to use Coconut Oil Cream

For many who have never used coconut oil, its various applications can be confusing. In colder climates, coconut oil can be solid, like a cream. However, in warm temperatures, it comes as a liquid.

Take some coconut oil, either solid or liquid, on your palm. Then, rub your palms together and onto the skin of the desired area. It is not necessary to reapply coconut oil as often as other natural skin care oils. You only need a small amount to create a protective shield on your skin that will last for a long time.

Coconut Co. Organic Coconut oil will not stain clothing permanently
